Agree with your logic, but this isn't a private transaction. It is private / public and the Directors have an obligation to keep the market informed at all times.

I raised my concerns regarding this transaction from the very first announcement to the ASX and to JC and they both responded accordingly.

JC released an update and ASIC responded with the suspension. The statements (or lack of statements) that the Directors made should be and will scrutinized if this fails...
