Hi,
I understand that this deposit is hosted in rock, which is somewhat weathered near surface and becomes progressively fresher with depth. Contrary to what has been noted in some of their announcements, I think that this would make mining and processing significantly more difficult and expensive compared to conventional mineral sands deposits (eg PTR Muckanippie). This area is immediately adjacent the Perth Basin, home to Iluka, Tronox, Image etc and I would be very surprised if they haven’t looked at and decided not to bother with this ground previously.
