Well done Ben Walker and newGen. A logical use for graphene in the mining sector.

I recall a couple of years ago, when the production cell was set up at Nagrom, poster Thorium1 pointed out the potential for FGR to work with Nagrom to improve the performance of liners that Nagrom was supplying at that time. Not sure why nothing happened.

So it's taken some time, and the enthusiasm of a young entreprenuer, but progress is at last being made. Suggests that research and development  can be much quicker when carried out within private organisations rather than the halls of learning.

And points to the liklihood of similar progress, but on a larger scale when the team at GEIC gets going.

Pity there were no figures to say how much performance might be improved - it will take some time to measure the effectiveness over time, and the potential cost savings.

The volumes won't be huge initially, but it's a start, and once the improvement metrics can be shown, there's a lot of mining equipment out there !!
