For those that are interested, picked up on a 2020 Report (hosted by Blackbau) which provides the On-Line Giving Distribution by month for the USA Faith Sector.
If assessed versus the PushPay financial reporting periods of H1 (April to Sept) and H2 (Oct to Mar), it reveals 45.1% occurs in the first half and 54.9% occurs in the second half. So H2 is 21.7% higher than H1. Correlates well with PushPay's track record, where H2 is on avg 22% higher.
Other bits of information gleaned :-
* USA Faith sector showed 3.1% YOY growth in 2020
* On-Line Giving in the USA (across all sectors) showed YOY growth of 20.7%
* By comparison, Canada declined by 4.8%,the UK by 5.9% and Aus/NZ by 4.2%
* And finally, On-Line Giving as a % of Total Fundraising in the USA is a mere 13%.
No doubt the fall-out and/or opportunities relating to Covid-19 have impacted these numbers, but my take-out is that the shift to digital is here to stay, this with a very significant runway for further adoption.
Now less than two weeks to the release of the Full Year Financials. Will be surprised if we dont see some positive movement on the share price ahead of the results release. Then, a re-rate.
