In what’s been at times a torturous journey for share holders, PVE is about to reward their patience. With sales agreements in place and gas flow imminent, the timing could not have been more opportunistic. Russian gas deliveries now account for less than 10% of Europe’s total gas consumption, compared to nearly 40% two years ago and Italy is planning to be independent from Russian gas supplies within the next three years, with a greater emphasis on local production.
