I'd go back to again the same story - public VS private companies
Venture funds generally prefer private investment and then maybe listing at a later date if they don't sell it our before hand. Pharma prefer it because it's much easier to keep a lid on and eyes away they don't have to disclose anything public really. On that note I notice very quietly Phoremost has dealed out with Novartis - have fun trying to find much information on it I think $1M upfront and $150M milestones but none of that has come from any release from Phoremost or Novartis > 2 compounds undisclosed targets undisclosed indications.
