" get on the road in front of brokers and investors" – that would be Peter James' job as chairman of the board. The CEO's job is to run the business, not massage the investors. A successful business needs these roles to work together boot in hand of course with senior management developing and executing business strategy, and the chairman and board liaising with investors to ensure the business is efficiently capitalised.
