ANSWERS FROM QBL MANAGEMENT: PROCESSING DIVISION

Q: Has the HHC plant equipment upgrade been completed yet?

A: YES. HHC are very pleased with the new upgrade of its 'state of the art' Dehuller.

Q's: Are there any plans to further increase our processing capability? Should we have another Hemp processing facility on the NSW/VIC border for example? Will Vitahemp use APH facilities to process Vitahemp hemp IF needed?

A: Firstly, let's explain hulling. HHC can easily crank its huller (s) to do 10MT an hour. Hulling is a minor part of the hemp processing flow. Without revealing our proprietary systems, we are transparent on our present capabilities based on the entire process, not just hulling. Our new state of the art Dehuller is also HACCP certified to produce the highest quality premium grade hemp Seed product.
We expect to have another facility, be that in 2018, 2019. The location, whether that be NSW, Victoria or Tasmania, is yet to be decided. We also have some of the largest broad-acre Hemp farms in Australia in NSW and Victoria with feeder farms in Tasmania. It is very important, for all the players in the Hemp Industry, to be strong and of a high standard (seeds, flours, protein & oils) for processing. Regarding using other processors, it is presently not a consideration, as we have enough capacity within our present facilities, with the ability to expand, to process and refine the seed sent from our feeder farms. HHC is very particular to ensure that the seed we refine, is processed through the highest quality dehullers available on the market, which also are HACCP certified.

Hi Neil, good to see the upgrade has finished. I’m confident in the upcoming revenue that MCL will receive from the hemp side of the business, once the next quarterly rolls around let’s hope we see some good profits to justify a high MC with the new amount of shares on board.
I remember a response to a question I asked a while back was that no profits from Thompson’s or other brands associated with HHC would be transferred to MCL’s books until this facility upgrade was finished. Can you confirm this, and also can you confirm now that the upgrade is finished we are receiving income from Thompson’s and all brands who were previously using HHC as their processing/manufacturer?
