Scaling is very hard indeed. and penetrating a traditional market with a disruptive technology is not fun.
Personally I think the team has done well but they've made a lot of mistakes along the way and now every which way turn they are being criticised.
I will let you in on a little secret though.
Ted doesn't really have the technology. Behind the Apps are an army of off-shore eskimos who do all the matching, bidding, loading the adverts for him. He pays them in vodka so it is a little hard to find the real labour costs in the balance sheets![]()
