I understand that in the tech industry to keep good people you need to have incentives.
Or another mob will poach them, good way to keep people at the firm.
When you see the working conditions of some of the iT offices with breakfast and lunch provided everyday, massages, exercise instructors, personal loans.
The presious pettles dont know how good they have it, just to have employment. But thats the industry.
Definitely a time and place to do these milestone shares. Timing was not great
and the 31 pages that went with the AGM vote a bit over the top. But suppose if you are going to drive the shareprice into the ground and dilute your original 50 million shares that you gifted yourself when it floated what better time to make a grab for another 50 million when you have just had a sprint to distinguish the legacy debt.
I vote to give all employees double and give Ted zilch.

Not all tech companies have the life of luxury. I've been in a couple.
In fact there are hardly many in Aus. Those were the early 2000 days. These guys can pull a 16-20 hr day or an 80-100hr week easily so it's not all glory.
