Between November 2013 and November 2017 NEA just range traded between $0.30 and $0.70. I got sick of it and sold for an OK profit. It subsequently multibagged and I left a lot of money on the table. I reckon this will do the same thing at some point in the next two years. After that it will probably ten bag again over the next few years when the market is more comfortable with it (ALU is a classic example of this). The lesson learned is twofold: don’t sell too early and make sure you are in early. You will probably get a Disallowed out of LVT by buying it at $2 (and it will be derisked at that point), but to get a true multi bagger you will need to be in a lot earlier (most likely the next few months). The critics are right in saying that the only thing that matters is the share price, but the market is very often wrong in the short term. I won’t be making the same mistake I did with NEA....
