I can tell you speaking with Rewardle businesses here in Adelaide - the local staff is gone. My man on the inside tells me that they are soley operating out of Melbourne now - so I suppose staff costs are gone. However, support has completely stopped and with the already rampant hardware issues many merchants are unable to replace broken tablets and all together stopping the service.
About 2 years ago Rewardle moved to using phones with 4G however they only replaced about 30% of their network if they started paying a sub.
