I love to read a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy.
However, have you considered that the share price reflects the markets current valuation of the company and that when it was considerably higher that it was indeed over valued? And that the higher price was a combination of unrealistic expectations and fomo..
It's all well and good being in a 'hot' sector but only performance will guarantee a sustainable higher share price.
That's my conspiracy theory - for what it's worth.
