Totally get the WMI LIC had exposure to MBH, and as you say their investment model requires a 'catalyst' which they obviously found. No problem but I am talking about Geoff Wilson personally acquiring a wholesale slice, off market from another broker for his SMSF. Its the timing that stinks.
I hope I am wrong but this smells very fishy to me.
