I don't know TAB has a 50% better win margin or not, but if it does this might be because it takes more on horse races which is a higher margin sport.
In the US there's hardly any horse race online betting at the moment (but pbh and bet are well placed to capitalise when this starts in nj) so the net win margin for the whole of pbh is going to be less than tab because it has no US business. There not comparable without thinking about the sports they are betting on %.
