Hmmm - oversold according to the charts - I got a shock this morning when I checked my super holdings to find a substantial decrease in the total due to the massive hiding that DDR received yesterday. I do agree with many of your sentiments Burger but I do not place as much emphasis on David as I did when I first bought many years ago. His influence in the business has decreased substantially in the last few years. His last few interviews have given me a strong impression that he is taking more of a consultant role these days and the day to day running of the business is down to Vlad and Co. He more or less implied this in a recent interview where he explained how important it was to retain top performing staff and reward them accordingly. I would not say I am not concerned about the key risk that David Dicker represents but I am equally concerned about the value that Vlad represents in DDR. Then you must look at the influence of David's ex Fiona who is still involved in the business to the extent that David agrees to consult her before making big decisions about selling any of his own stake. More to it I think than just the singular role that David plays now.
