ive never shorted, but i figure last week would have been a great time to do so as all those small share holdings taken off the hands of retail will be placed into the sell side at some stage. i assume this would.place some downward pressure?
but if the whole lot was sold to an insto it could have the opposite upward pressue. no notice of any such take up though.
