I'd personally be happy if someone offered $2+ for Zip right now - even though I think Zip is worth closer to $3 it could still take some time to get there and is subject to other factors like macroeconomic environment etc. A $2 buyout now would be just as good, eliminates the risk aspect, and you get the money now to invest elsewhere.
