Yesterday ZIP turned over 52 mil shares. The last time it had volume even close to that was in January of this year, when t/o was 30.8 mil and 46.6 mil on the 23rd and 24th of January respectively.
Most days it turns over less than 10 mil and during this year its monthly volume trading highs have been in the 40s twice, 30s once, 20s 4 times, 10 mil 4 times and less than 10 mil once.
After the 23rd of January when 30.8 mil was turned over and the SP hit 83.3 cents, the next day t/o reached 46.6 mil and the high was 70.5 cents. On the 25th the SP high was 66 cents and t/o was 15.5 mil. It kept on sliding toward 50 cents in February with low volume. At face value those who bought at the highs held. There is still no institutional interest in ZIP and it will be interesting to see what happens after yesterday's big one. I'm with Eugene - I reckon things are going to get pretty tough and Block's latest Afterpay results in Australia are not pretty
