Hey Wassa, I think I was quite measured considering you admit (and I know) that you did not include the actual reasons for why some of WGX plants don't operate above nameplate, but then you critique their existence and operational success because of it.....
I am hopeful that my reasoning for WGX performance in the Murchison is actually based on facts. Am I disappointed that they have not done better, sure, but I understand why and they have been upfront about the issues. By and large, they are processing a lot of low grade ore, whilst their main U/G mines either come into production or expand.
I do strongly disagree with you about WGX having the same 'average assets', 2 years ago, yes. Now... not even close. Just look at the Starlight update today. An incredible result considering that they have had only 2 years to properly drill out the asset. Bluebird the same... Big Bell the same. Great Fingal the same. Can you not see the incredible achievements the company has made at every single major U/G mine, except for Paddys (with hindsight, I know they would have drilled and realized that it was not going to last, a painful, but perhaps vital issue that has ensured they won't repeat it).
Hopefully @CashedUpBogun they can prove Wassa wrong (not for spite at all, just so I can make a good return and hopefully see even more drilling... which is sort of the most exciting bit, other than making a profit).
As always, I appreciate the banter and hope I don't come across as argumentative, though I imagine I do sometimes (a trait I continue to work on, perhaps.... somewhat successfully! ).
