After processing 45TJ yesterday, being Sunday, will the demand be there to go higher or do we have to wait for Monday's results?
That's a very interesting question, as I think the nominations are based on customer requirements (which would be based on their demand).
Even more interesting, in relation to the GSAs is that:
Sole GSAs commenced on 1 December 2020 and 1 January 2021 for gas supply of 19.75 PJ (54 TJ/day average) in 2021, with annual take-or-pay obligations for minimum supply of 90% of contracted volumes
From the above it would appear that it is a take or pay for annual supply of 19.75 PJ
So whilst the average is 54TJ/day (49TJ/day based on 90% minimum), the take or pay appears to be based on the annual purchase (rather than the daily purchase).
Be interesting to know how the annual take or pay obligation translates into a minimum/ maximum nominated purchase on a daily basis.
Eg. Obviously the maximum couldn't exceed 68TJ/day, but likewise wonder what the minimum is.
