No surprises to the 4C, we all knew that the first half be weak with the second half forecast to be stronger to deliver a positive EBITDA and positive operating cash flow.
The latest 4C provided a lot more clarity over their operations compared to previous announcements. Hopefully, it would result in more questions answered than asked. Previously announcements were somewhat ambiguous and gave rise to concerns/unfounded speculation.
To their credit, they have also really taken on board a lot of the feedback that shareholders provided to them in terms of what other levers were being pulled/are being pulled/could be pulled. Gave me some assurance that they realised that hope is not a prudent business strategy and cost base has to be aligned to revenue growth given all the uncertainties. I suspect extracting prudent ongoing operational efficiencies would be a big focus moving forward.
