They are PRESENTLY selling at Chinese "dictated"prices ...both imported and for internal Chinese usage !
Chinese gigafactories Plus Tesla ( Panasonic) are absorbing it all ....at their prices .
But Gigafactory build is rapidly gaining momentum ...both within China and in other parts of the world ,
Benchmark Minerals would know ..circa 71 current count ( without a further research )......
So if Syrah can "hold the line "now "..and for the remainder of 2019 ...supply and demand kicks in !
China can't have it both ways ---internal consumption in low grade , high pollution mines ...and still create the great new Chinese carbon pollution "reducing "world !
In the end ...Syrah is the only graphite producer ex China with a tier 1 50 year mine , that are producing and reporting sales and extracting revenue .Margin low now ....but new contracts will come , and if BAM works out in the USA ...Humpty Trumpty's party , with bi partisan support ...needs Syrah's product , produced from a raw product extracted from an Ex China supply source in Mozambique .
The current Syrah structure and Board either do this on their own .....or a much bigger player will do it for them ...whether Chinese interests are behind the shorting accumulation or not , if one bid comes .....wait for more !
Once you have a TIER 1 ASSET .....Management don't make mines ....mines make Management !
