I’m with you on that one. CP has doubled his money
so better to bank profits sometimes. As Rivkin used
to say….no one ever went broke making a profit….
However, at some stage it’s likely that the WA water
board will sign a hefty contract assuming EVS is able
to satisfy the proof of concept for them. I calculated
60k per site x 130 sites in WA alone is an ARR of
$7.8mill and they service something like 2 million
people which is less than 10% of the Aussie
population. Not totally sure of my figures so it’s a
guesstimate only, but just the WA water board alone
could get EVS close to 60 mill recurring revenue.
I used 60k as a guesstimate figure because previously
EVS averaged out what it had picked up in a quarter at
60k per site. So if all goes well with the WA water board all of a
sudden EVS could be slightly profitable with the WA proof
of concept. A big WA government contract would be a
huge catalyst for state governments/ private sector over
east to then start taking a serious look at the proof of concept
data and start signing on fairly quickly. Even at $5 mill in WA,
if you multiply their 10% to get up to 100% that could be circa
$50 mill in ARR in Aus alone if all states/territories/ private
sector water utilities got on board across the country taking
EVS to $100 mill ARR without taking into account NA or anywhere
else in the world for that matter. So although we appear to be running on
the spot ATM and the SP is stagnating, one thing it isn’t doing
is retreating significantly as it has done previously. For me the
proof of concept could be the clincher that drives EVS past the
previous high when the market got excited by ZZ getting on board.
To my mind once the proof of concept is achieved the EVS SP
will launch and hopefully we’ll never see these low SP’s again. And
today the fine tuning with senior positions continues as EVS positions
itself for significant growth. The one cloud platform they also advised
was on target/schedule to be up and running by around early March
this year so any announcement about that may give us a taste of things
to come about the SP. Hopefully patience will be handsomely rewarded
on this. It’s a Tech stock with bugger all debt in a field that looks set
to pop and you can buy one share for 20 cents. Sounds like a pretty
good deal to me…..
