Did this in two parts by accident as I hit 'enter' and it posted prematurely. PS. Sorry for the formatting issues

    Part II

Here are my responses in Yellow:

    Industry Partner
    WBT
: N/A (currently looking for commercial partner)
    4DS : Western Digital

WBT "multiple" interested parties, the one most beneficial for WBT will be chosen. 28nm may suggest Samsung or ST.

    Fab Qualification
    WBT : Q4 2020
4DS : Has fabricated functional 300mm wafers on the same multi-million dollar state-of-the-art production equipment used by high volume manufacturers of memory. "Functional" does not mean "commercial" ... ps. 4DS is 40nm, whereas WBT is targeting 28nm (20% better performance)

"Start to productize and take ReRAM into commercial fabs

As the company announced earlier this year, under the extendedagreement with Leti in France, development work has shifted focus toimproving the baseline parameters of the SiOx ReRAM cells. In other words,WBT has started to optimize the individual performance metrics of itsmemory cells, such as cycling endurance, access speed and dataretention. Because each end-application will have its own set of optimizedparameters, WBT will need to tweak these parameters depending on thespecific requirements of future licensees. We expect this initial optimizationprocess will take roughly 9 to 12 months. After that the company will needto qualify the manufacturing process in a fab, potentially more than one, tofacilitate integration of the technology into multiple existing and newmanufacturing processes, e.g. to design-in the SiOx ReRAM cells intoexisting or, more likely, new chip designs with embedded memory. Thisprocess may take another twelve months, which would make WBT’stechnology ready to license out by mid-year 2020."

So Weebit is in the process of choosing its key industry partner right now. If it is Samsung, ST or Intel (who has just invested billions more in Israel over the past week https://www.israel21c.org/chip-giant-intel-to-invest-11-billion-in-israeli-plant/) then this will be the biggest calayst WBT will have had to date and the SP should explode in my opinion

Yes 28nm suggests Samsung or ST, however if Intel are doing a new plant, perhaps they want to join the 28nm club too. And don't forget the quote from Part I above:

In reality, though, 3D XPoint has been delayed and failed to live up to those specs. “We know much of that was over-hyped in reality,” said Mark Webb, the principal at MKW Ventures, a consulting firm.
