You might wonder if they relaxed credit rules as the 60d fell to the 0.9%s in SEP and DEC, but did not noticeably impact the 180d bad debt stats for MAR. They obviously don't want to lose profitable business through being too strict, and will have an optimal balance in mind.
I also noticed the ave transaction val fell to $106, and has been trending down in Aus, while total $transactions per active cust has improved quite a bit. Might they be attracting younger clients who are making multiple smaller purchases? After weeding out the non payers, that could be a good cohort to sell to for a long customer relationship.
On the negative I wonder if there is any disadvantage to the multiple smaller transactions. I sort of think higher transactions is sort of habit reinforcing, so I am Mr optimism today.
