I missed the session, however the enrichment process is allowing them to test patients already identified as step a positive so they can just retest on Febridx to ensure a bacterial infection is identified to speed up the process.

Not sure why they couldn't have done this to begin with?

The low bacterial infections is both good and bad. It means:

1. Test works and identifies the viral nature = no antibiotics
2. Little in the way of progress for CLIA waiver status, so we need to get as many bacterial people as we can. Enrichment will help, but it could have been done from the get go in peak flu season.

It really comes across like a woulda coulda shoulda mentality. This enrichment is available, but lets just try our luck at jagging 800 bacterial infections.

Rather than, what is the shortest time frame to hit 800 so we can speed up the CLIA status as desired and move out sales to 200,000 sites, I know! Enrichment process!

Hopefully short term we have another announcement about completed Medicare coverage and Hologic second payment which is dragging.
