It's the optics of a listed company, with a product of enormous potential, being seen externally as not caring much about their image. Why even open themselves up to the possibility that a potential investor or partner will glance at their presentation and give reason to hesitate when they could spend a few hours here and there and chump change to look professional.
You can be critical of a company and still like it fundamentally.
