I've just refinanced one of my properties to Conbank. I know my borrowing power and I'm nowhere near the limits.
I was asked to close all my credit cards and zip account to 'get it over the line'.
My broker went back and said BS. Loan went through shortly after and they offered me a $15k card of theirs and got asked if I wanted to register my interest in steppay. Like wtf. And I've got the emails from my broker to back this up.
Didn't really think anything of it until this. Could be a coincidence and conbank stuffed some numbers (or my broker) - Im constantly refinancing something.
