True, that.

But that's an outworking of management recycling capital into driving growth at the top line.

If management (and shareholders) wanted, the company could become profitable tomorrow by letting the Revenue-Cost jaws open through suspension of all growth-related Opex.

But the board and management have been mandated to only let that happen from a meaningfully higher level of Revenue.

That way the owners of the business get more bang for their buck.

Of course, the trade-off is that it requires an investment of patience on the part of shareholders and it also carries execution risk.

But trade-offs are simply what one gets when investing.

I was just being tongue in cheek with my comment, because strictly speaking it's not yet profitable.

Sure, many companies could become profitable tomorrow if they pull back on growth related investment but in 2 years time the competition would be eating them and they'd have to start 'growth' investing again
