I like your thinking ratbox. If all shareholders turned up their noses at anything less than 80c STX would not get taken over, the shorter's would go away and the share price would again be dictated by the general market. I realise it would be hard for some e.g. those who have to make mortgage payments or who have to send kids off to school or uni.
