One thing is for certain, and that is that QF is currently operating at a loss. How long can they continue? This of course depends upon how long capacity remains low, and the strength of their balance sheet. Oxiana is a prime example of how quickly cash can disapppear in a hot climate such as this. Will Qf follow suit? Maybe. Those taking redundancy now are at least garunteed a pay-out and have a head start in the barren employment market. These are the tough times that were predicted, that are finally coming upon us.
