REX is leasing. NOT buying. Leasing does not cost much.Share of REX are trading at 42% discount to book value. However QF is at .75 times of book value. In other words, you are paying 58 cents for $1.00 worth of assets of REX and you are paying $4.75 for $1.00 worth of assets of QAN. Apart from type of aircrafts, other assets are similar. Moreover QF aricrafts lost more value than REX aircrafts.
