It is amazing that Qantas has stated "there were no findings of deliberate wrongdoing." What the hell? What about the illegal sacking of baggage handlers, the ACCC fine for selling tickets on cancelled flights and a whole raft more of other acts of wrongdoing. Did these all happen by accident? The egregious behaviour of Joyce who only had the interest of his hip pocket from the outset. I applaud the new Chairman's approach, but they shouldn't be gilding the lily on the Board's complicity in letting Joyce do what he wanted and treating him like a celebrity CEO.
