I wonder whether Qantas are putting 'safety first' with their pilots or whether they are putting woke politics at the front of their hiring practices as they attempt to find gay people, women and anyone with any sort of ethnicity (this I have first hand knowledge of, with friends currently in the recruitment process at Qantas). Let's just say if you have pink hair or some skin colour, your odds are extremely high.

I’ll be honest I hate it when companies do that . Ruins the culture and makes geniune hard working people feel uncomfortable to be open and honest or even to just interact with them. Always creates high turnovers among lower paid staff. Qantas is an Australian brand and need to stick with maintaining that Qantas culture (not middle eastern, not American, not Asian, not African) otherwise I will pull my shares out. Not that it makes any difference.
