Is the future nothing but hope at this point in time though @Monu ?
I'm very confident we will have returned to normal via a vaccine or herd immunity by the end of next year (research is showing that herd immunity is actually achieved at around 20% of population infection as evidenced in areas that have had high rates of infection like Sweden & New York)
If Qantas returns to say 75% of pre-COVID profit by FY 22 that's around $750 mil @ 12.5x earnings = $9 Billion MC = about $4.75 a share
I think they are pretty reasonable assumptions. If you think we are going to be living with COVID restrictions for years and years then yeah, it's a different story. I just don't see that happening
