Haha, "stock price bro" is the current chant. But without fools who can't read balance sheets you'd have efficient market pricing and nothing to short. I thank shareholders for having a lack of understanding of basic mathematics, let alone the ability to understand financial statements.
QAN might have less than 10c of assets per share at the next six monthly update. So you're paying a 50x book value at the moment. Has a "blue chip" ever traded at 50x PB before in history?
Forget about PE ratio - that won't be applicable to Qantas for many, many years to come.
