Re COVID and related legislation that is largely correct, but the Labor Federal Govt depends on Greens and independent(s) in the Upper House, for which there will be negotiations (code for compromise and adopting Greens policies, already foreshadowed by Greens Leader) to secure passage and other legislative transactions. While your Labor Govt (unlike then PM Gillard who went into formal coalition type coalition with Greens and two independents) may be correct terminology, it is indisputable that not all policy outcomes will be entirely labor policy. Labor attitude to QAN will be interesting to observe, no more $Bn handouts are likely, those days have come and gone. NRL Souths Rabbitohs may be have some slight edge now?
