You obviously don’t work in the medical field.
We don’t have the infrastructure, equipment, staff, medication, etc etc to handle the number of sick people that would present if we let this get out of hand..
That is unfortunately one of the biggest problems with a highly infectious disease that hospitalises people at a high rate. We can’t cope.
Governments are well aware of the limitations our hospitals have. Expect things to get worse for economy.
