Yeah, sure, but only when the Federal Government coughed up funding for repatriation flights.

In contrast, many foreign domiciled airlines including United, Japan's ANA, Qatar Airways, Philippine Airlines and a host of others flew to and from Australia on many occasions with no financial contributions from governments.

And how soon did QAN pay what it claims were 'refunds' to passengers for 'cancelled flights'? I bet not everyone who asked received a refund, and I further suggest QAN profited from being "unable" to contact some passengers who'd made bookings on cancelled flights.

The long winded media release shows nothing has changed under Ms Hudson.

QAN doesn't deserve our patronage, but continues to offer all Federal politicians Chairman's Lounge access as a great way of influencing public policy.

Let's hope it gets fined more than A$500 million.

Its Chairman (especially), Directors and key management are incapable of realising the error of their ways. Arrogance personified.
