I think not only the SI won't loose confidence in management from this situation, in fact management would have gained more respect with the way they've handled the situation, no?

AGY actively stopped anyone of them from getting burned by looking after them in a very timely manner (tell me how many companies this size that done what agy just did to look after the new shareholders like today)

You sound like you've been investing for a long time.

If so, you'll know this, it's hard to filter the good from bad (management) when everyones clapping management on the back at times when it's onwards and upwards.

But at times of adversity is when you really know what your management is made out of and their true vision.
( and in any journey with any company, there will be times like that )

This is how REAL trust is built, ( between management and investors)
Not when the SP is rising 10% a day, but when there's a road bump and how they deal with it.
