    JORC isn't prescriptive like that. Drilling down an orebody actually serves no real purpose. The data from the hole is not representative as the hole could oversample low or high-grade domains (which typically parallel the enveloping volume). Some orebodies have higher grades on the HW or FW, so how useful is drilling down the guts?

    If the company needed bulk materials for met testwork etc then they could have drilled a large diameter diamond hole, orthogonal to the orebody, and wedged off this hole to obtain multiple intercepts.

    The how and why are less important than the company then using the intercept from the hole as not only a headline but in the title of the ASX release, and after a trading halt just to further add to the excitement. what.png. And the SP went down 7% for their troubles.
