Imagine the OPEX savings with a TECH facility on-site in the Philippines:
- No/vastly reduced shipping & ore costs
- Far lower labour costs
- Shorter shipping of finished product to Korea/Japanese cell makers...
Perhaps a TECH twin, built in conjunction with Townsville's Stage 1.
CAPEX savings with double the equipment being procured; engineering all but done, each site learning off the other...
And before you know it, France and NC are wanting one built locally.
Be a nice earner for QPM to partner and share their $100M engineering improvements to the Direct Ni process in accelerating global supply of cleaner non-Indo nickel!
No news since the US-AUS Compact; let's hope its more than talk and Treasurer Chalmers upcoming budget has something to show for this behind the scenes work. 12 sleeps to go...
