    Given QPM had to spend >$100M on engineering, I'm guessing that Direct Nickel process is not a simple off the shelf plant/processor.
    It requires optimising, depending on the ore characteristics, energy inputs and required outputs (low/no waste).
    Yes, you'd need to get a licence, but IMO the extensive test work QPM and partners have completed would accelerate the timeframe for a partner to get through the PFS-DFS process and greatly reduce the cost of such.
