Mate, I've just logged on for the day and see 6 posts of yours already this morning and 5 more yesterday .... wow ..... you've had a couple of rough days by the look of it.

As I've said many times before .... this is not a sprint and everyone has their own investment strategy ..... no one gives a rats as to what you do and how you try and justify your own position.

I've read a lot about what's been happening in the Pilbara and around the Mt Isa area and as I see it DEG have been drilling for some years and have hit the big time .... we are in the early stages of our exploration program in the Pilbara and our early results together with the ground we are drilling through seems to basically mirror those of the early days of what DEG discovered.

The same can be said for the Mt Isa area - Tick Hill, Duchess, Nil Desperandum etc where high grade gold and high grade copper have been found and mined years ago ... again we have only just started our exploration program there and to expect every drill hole to come up with outstanding results is fanciful IMO.

In other words to imagine every drill hole should be a Company maker is immature to say the least.

Sure we have very few shares on issue, which can be both good and bad, but we all know self interested parties can manipulate the share price either way during normal trading hours or during the 10 minute auction period at the end of each day ... we see that all the time.

I'd suggest we should all relax and watch the Company diligently progress its well researched exploration programs in both areas and sit back .... Rome wasn't built in a day - it's not a sprint - we are very fortunate to have the management expertise, ample cash in the bank with more coming, plenty of land in proven areas to progress our exploration programs in a methodical and orderly fashion.

Put them in the bottom drawer and see where we are in 6 or 12 months ..... as the M/D said at the last AGM ...."the share price will look after itself" !

I'm confidently guessing they have NOT been selling, and probably have been topping up a bit more at these prices... We will see in a week

Our Top 20 have the mentality as 1912 mentioned above "Rome wasn't built in a day"...

THEY DO NOT!! (on every SP drop)

One of our Top 20 pointed this out to me:

* We are now at nearly cash value of tick hill and cash at bank. So our ground and other assets are almost valued at nil (Very highly prospective land 3 x the size of Singapore)

- "But we have sufficient value at Tick Hill in the pit, plus a good cash pile, to fund a very long and good exploration program"

* There is a whole lot of cheerleading on HC about how big we are going to be, how its going to be this, how its so undervalued, and a lot of it is crap and very repetitive. I find it nauseating (Oooops, I am one of these)

* We are an explorer!! (So, yes it does take time)

* We have currently proved up zero new resource (but huge potential to do so)!!

So what is his or her investment strategy? Try picking the highs and lows? NO!!

Giving yourself "yearly" timeframes to re-assess your investments is quite wise, I would say...

Expecting amazing hits on every drilling campaign and in every holes is completely unrealistic! BUT waiting to see how Rob and team lead this exploration program and assessing the development of the company on "Longer-term" timeframes IMO is a very smart investment strategy...

And of course the obvious CGT benefits that come with holding a stock for more than 12 months

Again, "Rome was not built in a day"...
