In my previous conversations with Mohammad, this is one of the problems he has - he could put out more information regarding progress but the vast majority of people would not understand including myself. Googling helps to a degree but when it comes to equations like that shown in the link in the announcement .... well.. I don't even what to think too hard about it as it would hurt, but the announcement merely shows they are making progress on the software side and this is an essential requirement of 12cq.
This is far more complex than the 80's when Integrated circuits and computers were starting off but I imagine most people at the time then would have been scratching their heads.
It's just easier to think progress is being made in a very complex area
