In my opinion the great thing about sharing resources with IBM and its quantum network is the potential openings. The area of likely first uptake is military. IBM is a trusted name in US circles, Archer was a nobody.
Equally At her currently has something nobody else has, a quantum chip that can operate at room temp. It is still in the testing phase and build phase to something bigger, BUT it is there. Imagine the possibilities if you can.
Yes it is some time away from a commercial setting for quantum chips, but with the IP able to be commercialised there is more potential.
For me the biosensor is intriguing and I would like to know which German biotech is involved with them. Recent events have shown this is an unmet need in the world.
