Looks like Archer will be expanding activities in the USA but what will happen regarding China? Looks like the USA is playing hardball with China regarding chip manufacturing. To the extent that market value of chip makers has been slashed knowing that their sales to China will be curtailed. Does this mean China will not try to clandestinely use Archer’s tech as disclosed in patents? (Given what the US is doing I’d hardly blame them if they did!) Then again, if China can’t buy extreme UV engravers to make sun-10nm chips then the tech may be useless to them anyway.
