Seems to me like that would take huge resources for the ASX to administer. How many companies on the ASX and how many make announcements each day? Plus with many announcements you would need some knowledge of the Company to assess price sensitivity. I would think its more likely the Company ticks a box and the ASX generally takes them at their word.
