THIRD QUARTER FINANCIAL YEAR TO 30 JUNE 2013
NZ Windfarms Limited ("NWF") advises the following operating statistics for
the third quarter:
Third Quarter - 1 January 2013 to 31 March 2013

Financial year to date - 1 July 2012 to 31 March 2013

The performance of NWF is strongly influenced by wind conditions and
electricity prices which are both subject to natural variability and are
beyond NZ Windfarms' control. Modeling is based on appropriate long term
averages.
The average electricity price received for the quarter was higher than
forecasted, but lower than the equivalent period in the previous financial
year. The energy generated for the quarter was below the volume forecasted
and below the volume generated in the equivalent period in the previous
financial year. The net result was revenue for the quarter below the level
forecasted, and below the equivalent period in the previous financial year.
For the financial year to date both energy output and the average price
received are below forecast, and below the level achieved in the equivalent
period in the previous financial year. As a result the revenue for the
financial year to date is below the level forecasted and below the level
achieved in the equivalent period in the previous financial year.
